The @worldamputeefootball federation has just announced the inaugural women's amputee soccer world cup will take place in Colombia 2024.

The head coach of the U.S. Women's Amputee Soccer National Team, @coachpaigegk, had this to say:

"This is something that the organization has dreamt of for decades, and now, it's finally here. I am excited to continue to build the United States AASA Women's Squad to have us compete against other women all over the world. I can't thank WAFF enough for their dedication to women and this sport. This is only the start of a beautiful journey that the world is about to embark on with Women's Amputee Soccer. See you in Colombia."
