AASA Participates in Hanger Clinic's "Everybody Plays" Adaptive Field Day at Dick’s House of Sport

The American Amputee Soccer Association is proud to extend our deepest gratitude to Hanger Clinic for including us in the Everybody Plays Adaptive Field Day, hosted in partnership with Dick’s House of Sport in Pittsburgh.

This event was more than just a day of activity—it was a celebration of inclusion, movement, and the power of adaptive sports to bring people together. We were honored to host a table at the event, sharing the mission of amputee soccer and showcasing the passion and talent of our athletes.

One of the day’s highlights was getting to introduce amputee soccer to new faces through a live demo and community engagement. Our players had an amazing time connecting with attendees, answering questions, and representing a sport that continues to break barriers and build bridges.

Equally rewarding was the chance to explore and participate in other adaptive sports featured throughout the day. It was inspiring to see athletes of all abilities united on the field, highlighting the spirit of perseverance and joy that defines this community.

Thank you to everyone at Hanger Clinic and Dick’s House of Sport for your commitment to inclusivity and for supporting the growth of adaptive sports. We’re excited for what the future holds and look forward to working together again to expand access and opportunities for all.
