Team USA Men's coach, Jason Fiscina, and players, Keith Mann, Jovan Booker and Gregory Cunningham recently visited Eastplain Elementary to share their stories and give fifth graders a firsthand look at amputee soccer.

The presentation opened with a captivating assembly where the athletes shared their personal journeys, detailing the challenges they overcame to represent their country on the international stage. Through engaging visuals and open dialogue, the team broke down misconceptions about adaptive sports and shed light on what it truly means to be an elite champion with physical differences.

The children also got a firsthand look at what it takes to navigate the pitch on forearm crutches. By connecting directly with elite adaptive athletes, students don't just learn about diversity from a textbook. They experience it through shared stories, high-fives, and real-world perspective shifts.
