The Women’s Amputee Soccer World Cup returns in 2027

In 2024, 117 players from 10 nations changed the game in Barranquilla, Colombia. For the AASA, it was a landmark year: The U.S. Women’s National Team secured a 2nd Place finish, and our goalkeeper earned the prestigious Golden Glove award.

As we look to 2027, the WAFF is focused on inviting even more nations to participate in this rapidly expanding sport. We are thrilled to see international interest peaking, with Rwanda, Brazil, and Poland already submitting bids to host.

The momentum is undeniable. We can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
