The American Amputee Soccer Association (AASA), in collaboration with Boeing and Move United, is proud to host a special Amputee Soccer Experience for Veterans on Friday, November 15, 2025 in Rockville, Maryland. This one-day event is designed to honor military veterans and their families while introducing them to the fast-growing world of amputee soccer.
A Unique Opportunity for Veterans
This free program invites military veterans and their families with upper or lower limb differences to step onto the field and experience the power of adaptive soccer. No prior sports experience is required — just bring your energy, and AASA’s dedicated staff and athletes will provide the rest.
Participants will enjoy:
Skill-Building Sessions led by U.S. National Amputee Soccer Team athletes
Mentorship Opportunities from players who have competed internationally
Live Demonstrations showcasing the intensity and teamwork of amputee soccer at the highest level
Scrimmages & Fun Drills to put new skills into practice
Building Community Through Sport
More than just a day of soccer, this event offers a chance for veterans to connect with others, build camaraderie, and explore a supportive community through adaptive sports. By creating pathways into programs like amputee soccer, AASA continues its mission to expand opportunities, promote inclusion, and inspire both players and spectators alike.
